Top 3 places you must visit in Oman! - Travel Guide to Oman -

In our previous post, we share what to do in Oman, but I had to make a separate post about my top 3 must-visit! Here you are going to see what made me decide to visit Oman and the places you cant leave Oman without seeing for yourself. All of them are completely beautiful and breathtaking.

Bimmah Sinkhole

This was the first thing that called my attention while I was researching Oman. Instantly I thought it was all photoshop, but once I was there I saw that Bimmah Sinkhole doesn't need photoshop, the colors are beautiful and the location is impressive. Rumors say that the area was created by a falling star; geologists say erosion caused it. But we like the first idea so we are going with that. We took a couple of minutes to take a swim and the water was refreshing. Bimmah Sinkhole it's connected underground to the sea, that's how its water gets filled and refreshed. The hole which is not the only one in Oman is 40 meters wide and 20 meters deep, with the sea to one side and the mountains to the other.

Wadi Shab

A full day activity; drive, hike and swim all in one place. Wadi Shab was the one that made me press the book button. It's an activity that you have to prepare for, hydrate, eat, and pack what you'll need before you adventure out. Also be ready to get the most beautiful footage all throughout the hike. I spent over an hour swimming and it was extremely relaxing. Check out the Complete Guide to Wadi Shab.

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

Being the main mosque in Oman and located in the capital city of Muscat; its beautiful inside and out. It's amazing gardens and impressive musalla create a spectacular mosque which can hold up to 20,000 worshipers. Its an incredibly peaceful place, which not only locals but also tourists visit at all times.
